  I LOVED this place. The quality of fish is incredible, it melts in your mouth. The rolls are also fantastic .. I was really amazed by the high quality of products considering that it is hard to find high quality food in San Antonio. I will come back for sure, and the staff was very friendly too.

  Excellent ambiance. The choices of sushi and rolls is great. We ordered the chefs dinner, fatty salmon roll, crab cakes- all were delicious. Seafood is fresh. I enjoyed my nice Christmas Margarita drink perfect for the season. Staff is very attentive, professional and knowledgeable. This is an upscale, sushi/ Japanese place perfect for any occasion.

  We walked in and we were greeted by a super friendly lady. I made reservations, so we were seated right away. Our waiter Lucas was on top of everything and we have nothing to complain. The whole staff was amazing, the food delicious and I’m sure we will be back! 1 little tip, adding some butter and some more salt to the edamame would be amazing.

  This has to be one of the best restaurants that I have eaten at. Chicken fried rice is spot on. Delicious pork filled dumplings. There is no doubt it would be easy to fill up before the main course. A very pleasant and professional staff really rounds out a perfect experience.

  Fantastic food. This place has the best sushi and seafood in San Antonio. I would give them 10 stars. The appetizers were delicious, and the drink menu includes a good selection of cocktails and wine. The sushi menu includes a variety of fresh and delicious ocean treats. I had the sea bass, which was absolutely the best I have had. Extra delicate and delicious the fish was cooked perfectly and exceeded my expectations. The dessert was the banana roll and it was a table favorite. The staff is wonderful, and the owner takes great care in ensuring your dining experience is the best it can be. Don’t wait, go eat there today, it’s worth it.

  This restaurant deserves more publicity than it already has. I recently started exploring the world of rolls and sushi but I have to say that Kai Sushi has a place in my heart. Service is great and the food is delicious. My personal favorite here is the Mikes Special Roll which is topped with seared tuna – absolutely delicious!😋

  This place was pretty good. The service was great. The food portion is so large and price is so reasonable. The sushi tasted great as well. Only thing was the sweet and sour soup was too salty.

  I made reservations for 3 online and when we got there they said that reservations are not made for 3? Either way, we were seated quickly. Little wait for food to be served. The prices for sushi are a bit high but it’s because the rolls are big. We ordered the Norteño and Batman Roll. We also ordered Bulgogi. All were delicious. Perfect location, just right off the freeway. Plenty of seating for large parties, not sure about parking since it’s close to another business. Overall, great dine in experience.

  KAI is now on my top 3 of favorite sushi places for 2022. The size of their sushi pieces for the price is just great. Beer is ice cold and the food is fresh as it can get. Loved the Japanese bento box #2 since I always have enough for left overs. Definitely recommend going here if you are looking for a new place to try.

  First time trying. Very nice surprise. Large portions. Wait staff friendly and quick. Nice open atmosphere. Plenty of choices. Will definitely go back and try the bento boxes and other dishes.
