They have a man named Steve that actually went to another location to get me a new tire due to the fact that they didn’t have the one i needed in stock. It was scorching outside too. Meanwhile the staff was very accommodating. I sat in the air conditioned waiting room with my newborn baby and they took care of everything. Please come see these guys. Steve was excellent and was clearly very knowledgeable from the second we met him, He saw I was frazzled about the situation and assured me it’s something they’re able to take care of quickly and assured me the car was safe to drive. Steve and his team were friendly, knowledgeable and got me out of the shop in 20 minutes. Given I’m new to the area, I’ll be coming from now on for car issues or oil changes. Upon leaving and driving my car for a bit, my oil light comes on and I begin to lose power. After losing power on the highway, I had to quickly try to pull over, luckily I was close to a Wawa. After barley making to the Wawa, oil began to pour from the under carrier near the oil filter. I have photos of the car after I pulled over and the oil is just pouring out. I got my vehicle towed to my local Hyundai Dealership. Upon their inspection by a trained and certified Hyundai mechanic, they determined that “my lost of power and engine seizing was due to IMPROPER INSTALLATION” I’m very understanding, mistakes happen. I tried to get this handled as professionally as possible. And quickly since this is the only car my household has. What the manager did in return was, use intimidation tactics to avoid taking responsibility for a CLEAR mistake on their part. He began to try and Logic bully me into thinking there was nothing I could do. Clearly my car has never had any issues. Now I got a quote for the work, it’ll all come out to around $12,000.00. My girlfriend (a recent college grad with student loans) and I can’t afford an unexpected bill of that price. I made sure I had a car with warranty and kept my receipts for all oil changes. Market Street in Newark—this was where AAA told me to go. It was late in the day & I was nowhere near where I needed to go. First I was told I’d need to leave my truck overnight. When I explained my particular situation, they were super sweet & sprang into action to make the impossible happen even though it was really late in the day and they were busy. Steve and the rest of them were efficient and nice. THEY GOT ME BACK ON THE ROAD, explained to me what was needed & why; showed me everything; and the price was reasonable too.
