  In the abstract, the food was great. However, the ambiance is lacking, and the menu prices are not matched to the overall experience. The service and the kitchen were also somewhat slower than what one would expect based on the prices. Nearly everybody around us went for the hot pot, so we plan to give it another visit and try that instead of the sushi.

  I had the best first impressions going in. There were multiple menus, which were all explained. I received a hot hand towel to wipe my hands with prior to eating as well, which I loved. Unfortunately, while the food was amazing and the service was fantastic, I did find a hair in my food. The server took care of that food item and everything else was really good but that was my experience.

  This was actually one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my entire life. I kid you not I told my husband that evening that if I had one final meal it would be on my list. Very authentic restaurant. Service was great. They didn’t rush you at all. We actually live in Ohio and would drive just to go there to eat. It was out of this world in my opinion.

  Went for our son’s birthday and Loved, Love, Loved it! The food was delicious and it was a very unique design in the restaurant. Yasuko (might be misspelling this) was so helpful, attentive, friendly, polite, and made out dinner worry free. We had the best time. You have to check out the restrooms too. Although, they are very small.

  All sauces are made in house, huge variety of unique Japanese dishes that have been passed down directly from Japan. No other place in Pittsburgh offers this one of a kind Asian experience. Recently rated the best Japanese Restaurant in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette. Most Popular Dishes: Sukiyaki and Shabu Shabu for 2(or 3), served with choice cuts of beef and fresh vegetables from local venders and served with signiture house made sauces.

  The sushi quality was superb, The staff is super friendly and on point, no joke 10 out 10 will go again because of them. The experience. Of walking in off the street is awesome little small if you happen to have more than 6 in a group. Other than that it’s super clean and well maintained.

  This is one of my favorite places hands down. Is it a bit of a gimmick? Yes. Do I love it? Yes. I always get the build your own burrito because I am a bit of a picky eater so I love being able to customize my order like that. Everything I’ve had has been fresh and high quality. I’m able to get lots of veggies so I feel like I’m getting something lighter yet still filling for lunch. The team here is super efficient and handles the lunch rush like champs and the store is always clean and welcoming.

  Had a great lunch here before exploring the Carnegie museums. The Shaka bowl was fresh and delicious and the staff were all efficient and friendly. As my wife and I were leaving the cashier asked how we liked the food and said thank you. Tight quarters and not a lot of seating but most customers took their food to go. I’d go their again if I lived here.

  Just ordered from here for the first time and it was INCREDIBLE I usually do my local sushi place right down the road and get 4 rolls for 30 bucks so it didn’t bother me the burrito was 30(keep in mind I always add extra stuff to mine so that’s why the price was a little steep) it came 10 minutes ago and it’s already gone 🤣I hope yall continue to be able to deliver to my address cause I will deff order sometime again (might do a build your own poke bowl)

  The best in Pittsburgh if you want quick, fresh, chose it and watch them make it customized sushi. Great staff, super friendly, we go here enough where they literally remember exactly what we order. Highly recommended.
