This was such a good time! Chef Jordan was knowledgeable, patient, and really good at breaking the ice with the group to foster a more relaxed feel. He made this experience so fun with little stories, hands on experience, and even a competition at the end. We ended up with so much sushi to share between us and it was actually really tasty! You will learn the proper way to cut meat and vegetables, how to make sauces, rice, and tempura batter, and different ways to roll the sushi. I cannot recommend this class or Chef Jordan enough!

Cooking with Chef Gustavo was a fun and educational experience. He has a passion for cooking that is on full display as he is teaching the class. He doesn’t just teach you how to make these dishes, he informs you about their story and the local flavors of each dish that make them unique. He is welcoming and well learned from his travels, and at the end of the class we were delighted, and motivated to try these dished ourselves.

My partner and I did a sushi making class with Chef Jordan in DC and it was fantastic! He took us from the basics of rice making all the way through the techniques for rolling. It was a wonderful time and the time flies by. Chef Jordan has a calm and friendly demeanor that makes you feel like you can conquer anything in the kitchen. We’d definitely recommend and attend again!

Excellent experience, good communication before the event took place, Master Chef Made was very accommodating, knowledgeable, genuinely pleasant and easy to work with. We had a large group of 15 people and he met every need we had. Thank you, will do again!

My husband and I had such a great time! We booked this event at the last minute (2 days prior to be exact) and I was surprised that it was even available being as though it was Valentines Day weekend. There was absolutely no regrets! Chef Shelly made us feel like we were in the kitchen with one of our aunties 🥰 it was nothing short of a great time! Great food, great company, and a ton of laughs! We were there with another couple and the vibe was one of a Friday night out with friends! Now back to this food…it was so good that I was able to eat foods that I normally do not eat! I would definitely recommend and I most certainly would do another class with chef Shelly!

We went on the Georgetown Foodie Tour yesterday and it was great. Marsha was an excellent tour guide and was very knowledgeable about Georgetown history and the food we tried. I’ve been on other food tours where you have tastes/samples at a number of places. This one was different because we only went to 4 places -but had a full serving of the food we were tasting. It was wonderful really getting to experience the food – and ended up needed a bag to take leftovers!! We’ll definitely do a Mangia Tour again- can’t wait for the Italian tour!

Love love loved our Mangia DC Food Tour! Really enjoyed the restaurant choices and the stories behind them. The food was plentiful and delicious. McKendrey was a fantastic tour guide – fun, friendly, knowledgeable! Highly recommend!

We had the best time today, touring Georgetown’s gorgeous streets with our incredibly personable and knowledgeable hosts McEndrey and Dave! The peroski and veggie taco were the bomb! Loved seeing Julia Child’s home in this gorgeous area of DC.

I did the Georgetown foodtour yesterday (22 April). It was an excellent finish to my 2 week USA vacation. The food and the tour were great!! Lots of fun little tidbits about houses and the restaurants. Our tour guide McKendry did great, she had good energy, despite the rain (and it was bad for a while!!) So 5 out of 5 for me!
