- Reviews:We host our company Holiday Party at Hudson Table every year because of the wonderful experience they offer! The staff is always eager to help coordinate our events and respond in a timely manner to our emails, questions, and concerns. The chefs are professionally trained from prestigious culinary academies and enjoy teaching tips and tricks of the trade while making sure to keep the class a lively and fun experience. Hudson Table offers an extensive variety of menus to choose from and the food always turns out incredible. Everyone has a fabulous time learning and bonding together. We would like to thank Anna and Amanda for helping to coordinate this year’s event as well as this year’s marvelous chef, Sam and her splendid sous chefs, Ricky and Sophia. Thank you for another fantastic year! ~ New World GroupBy Cassandra Penna (5 months ago)Just had my baby shower here! The food was absolutely fantastic. The staff were very helpful and attentive to us. Everyone had an amazing time! My event coordinator, Amanda, made planning super easy and smooth. She was great with reminders and answering any questions I had. The place was at a very nice and quiet street too. Definitely coming back and recommending to others!By Ashley Rivas (a month ago)I held my 40th Birthday dinner here and was very disappointed with how things went. I wish I went with a different venue. I booked this venue on 2/6/22 for a 7/30/22 event. I spent over $10,000 on decor, my cakes, the venue and wine and beer. I was expecting to provide a unique experience to my guest. At 1pm on the day of my event, I was emailed and told that the AC was not working and the area was “quite warm”. They said they would provide fans and place tables and chairs on the patio at no extra charge. (..as if I asked for this) It was also stated that the owner has graciously gifted me champagne. At 1pm, I had all the alcohol that I needed for my event. I didn’t want champagne. It was almost 90 degrees outside. Upon arrival, it wasn’t quite warm. It was extremely hot and uncomfortable. They only had 2 fans blowing in a literal kitchen. They also don’t have a patio. They put 2 tables and about 8 chairs outside in the alley next to their building. An alley that had random people walking by the tables with dogs and people on scooters. This was not the experience that I paid all this money for. I purchased two cakes for my event. On both cakes the bakery placed a label that said that they should be eaten at room temperature. It was so hot, that the cakes couldn’t be left out. They were served cold and weren’t the way they should have been served. One cake was supposed to be on display the entire time.I waisted money paying for a display stand for it. It couldn’t stay out to the temperature. My menu was finalized on 7/24/22 and included sorbet, fruit, tea and coffee for my guest. My guest did not receive any sorbet, fruit, tea or coffee. My event designer ordered flowers, candles, plates, and cutlery for 35 guest to sit at 5 tables. When the florist arrived to set up, I was informed that it was only 4 tables arranged in the room to be decorated. This forced my guest to sit closer together. I wasted money purchasing items for 5 tables. Due to the heat, my designer did not place as many candles out that she ordered to minimize extra heat. More money that I wasted due to the venue’s lack of air. I couldn’t enjoy the food as much as I wanted to. It was way too hot. I basically drank most of the night to try to keep cool. The day after my event the owner sent an email stating that he’s refunding $300 for the inconvenience of the temperature. This is pretty insulting. I responded with a list of issues and it’s been over 48 hours and I haven’t received a response. I definitely won’t ever consider spending my money here again.By LaTisha Parsons (10 months ago)Had my birthday party at Hudson Table and it was THE BEST IDEA EVER! I was able to invite 24 of my best friends to cook, drink wine, and eat together and it was so much fun. A fancy dinner out in the city would have been the same price ($90/person) but this was so much more fun and lasted 3 hours. The staff put the tables together so we ate family style together at the end and had a candle to sing happy birthday for me. Everyone had such a blast and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend doing an event like this for a work event or birthday!By Krista Vrabel Hebert (4 months ago)My husband and I attended an incredible 5 course dinner + live music on the rooftop with friends. We had a spectacular evening and the food by Chef Koray was outstanding!! Amazing experience, can’t wait to come back agin soon!By Anna Zuck Downs (a year ago)

- Reviews:Lovely experience here with the Passion for Spices team. May, Chef Thomas, and Christina were wonderful and very welcoming. The location was part of the church and had great parking to the side. Large kitchen space and nice seating to enjoy the food we cooked. A few things to note when signing up for these cooking classes are that they are decently sized. Not too overwhelming and pretty interactive. I was not aware it was a couples cooking class so it was a little unexpected but it was fine! We got to work with our hands and assist with cooking. It was very guided and Chef Thomas did a good amount of the work while we did prep work and assembly. Nice experience and would like to see what other themed nights they do. Hopefully ones that are not dedicated to couples though for personal preference. Now for my standard COVID comments as of February 2023. No one is wearing masks. It’s a decently sized location but if you are not comfortable with being indoors and cooking food with folks without masks, would not recommend. I felt fine and enjoyed myself but also would not say no to having folks in the kitchen wear masks.By Christine L (3 months ago)What a great experience! My family and I did the Indian feast in the Passion for Spices Cooking School. We learned lots of techniques and tips from May Fridel and her team while sipping wine in a friendly, low key atmosphere. To say that May is passionate is a huge understatement! She is fired up and burning with a passion for not just spices, food and wine – but also family, team building and health! Her passion stems from her message which is all about enjoying good health mainly by getting back to eating fresh farm to table produce and foods prepared in a healthy way. To good health May! Thank you!By Bruce Grimaldi (6 months ago)We came to Passion For Spices as a team building event for our employees and participated in a cooking class. We learned about ethnic spices and preparation of a Moroccan meal from appetizers to dessert which was delicious! May was an excellent hostess and the chefs taught us proper techniques and made our evening memorable. We would highly recommend their classes!By Lu Plum (2 weeks ago)Small quaint class with great staff who are passionate about the art of cooking. Thank you May & Thomas improved my knife skills and learned a lot within our 2 hours. Excellent company such a thoughtful gift – looking forward to our next class maybe a Cuban/paella session.By Gabrielle Warbrick (2 months ago)One of the best Team events I have attended, got to show off my new knife cutting skills to my wife and she was impressed.
